Mango Strawberry Smoothie
This healthy strawberry mango smoothie recipe is another great fresh way to start your day.
This recipe is simple to make and ready in about a minute. I have used frozen mango and frozen strawberries from Aldi to make this recipe.
But of course, you can also use fresh strawberries and mango if you have them available. Either way, it tastes divine.
The tropical mango taste is always delicious in a smoothie and we use frozen mango in many of our smoothie recipes.
The advantage of using frozen chunks is that the smoothie is already cold when you make it and you do not need to add any ice cubes.
If you are worried about the calories in the fruit juice, just use water instead.
We often used juice as it was often leftover from our B&B guests’ breakfast and we did not like to waste it. It also adds an extra dimension of apple to the smoothie.
We also use some of our leftover fruits from our B&B breakfast to make some of our smoothies, like apples and bananas.
The combinations are endless, and most combinations are pretty tasty. Check out some of the links at the end of this post to some other tasty smoothie recipes and combinations.
Smoothie maker
If you are looking to buy a smoothie maker, we have recently purchased one of these babies and would highly recommend them. Quick and efficient. We also use this great machine for whipping cream for our tea time scones , or pulverising tomatoes for our spaghetti bolognese recipe.
A very multifunctional piece of apparatus that you definitely need in your kitchen! Make sure you buy enough accessories so you can take your smoothie with you on your commute!
